Underwood Residence | Oregon

Located in Central Oregon, the Underwood Residence features 1,500 square feet of Mbrico porcelain tile decking across multiple outdoor living spaces.

Designed by Liz Dexter, AIA of Reveal Architecture and Interior Design, the modern ranch residence was created around a strong connection between indoor and outdoor living. Expansive folding glass walls open the great room and primary suite directly to the surrounding decks, extending the home’s living spaces into the landscape.

Mbrico’s Quartz-look porcelain pavers were selected for all exterior decks throughout the residence. On the upper deck, the porcelain surface is supported by a pedestal system installed above a TPO waterproofing membrane, allowing water to drain beneath the finished deck surface.

The result combines modern architecture, expansive outdoor living and the refined appearance of porcelain with an engineered decking solution designed for elevated exterior applications.
